What kind of jobs does Head Operators offer?
We connect operators with food manufacturers in the Netherlands. We help you find a role that matches your experience, technical skills and ambitions.
Do I need experience as an operator?
Requirements vary by vacancy. Experience as an operator or a technical background is valuable, even if you have worked outside the food industry. Tell us about your skills so we can explore suitable opportunities.
Do I need to speak Dutch?
We offer positions suitable for English-speaking candidates. The required language level is explained in each vacancy and discussed during recruitment.
Can I apply from abroad or if I already live in the Netherlands?
Both are welcome. Whether you already live in the Netherlands or are planning to move here, we’ll discuss your experience, availability and any accommodation or transport needs.
Do you arrange visas or work permits?
No. Head Operators does not arrange visas or work permits. You must already have the right to work in Europe.
Can you help me with accommodation?
Yes, we offer accommodation options for employees who need housing. We’ll explain availability, costs and conditions before you accept a position. You can also apply if you have your own accommodation.
Do you provide transport to work?
Yes. For commuting distances under 10 km, we provide a bicycle. For distances over 10 km, we arrange transport by car. We’ll explain your transport arrangements and conditions before you start. You can also use your own transport.
What salary and working hours can I expect?
We always pay in accordance with the applicable collective labour agreement (CAO). Your pay is aligned with that of employees directly employed by our client in an equivalent role, taking relevant experience into account. Working hours and shift patterns depend on the position. Before you accept, we’ll explain your hourly pay, schedule and any applicable allowances.
Will I receive support after I start?
Yes. We help you settle into your new role and life in the Netherlands, with personal guidance that continues beyond your first day. We provide support on the work floor, stay in touch about your progress and help with questions about accommodation, transport and communication at work. We also discuss opportunities for training and development, helping you build your skills and grow towards greater independence.
